> I let the images in this post do all the talking, because frankly, I have nothing left to say except: I ♥ MANISH MALHOTRA's DESIGNS! I wish he would open a boutique here in Toronto, because we are certainly missing out! I have been a fan of Manish Malhotra for sometime now; and I've always wanted something from his collection. He is known to be one of India's most successful designers and his designs are commonly worn by various Bollywood actresses. The list of Bollywood movies he has designed costumes for is endless! Interestingly enough he has also designed for Michael Jackson when he visited India for a show. Manish Malhotra really pairs fabrics and textures well while still making them wearable, and that's what I love most about his designs.
My only resource for Indian fashion (other than the web) is VOGUE INDIA one of my favourite magazines; this is probably as much as Canada gets of Indian fashion. I do wish that we had a more exposure, since I am more interested in the Indian fashion world ... There are lots of other great designers out there that Canada gets major exposure to, however I'm not as interested. ANYWHO, pictured are various designs from various shows of different years these are just a few of my favourites that I've been drooling over, there are tons more! I wish I could pull one of these lovely pieces off!
