30 Day Challenge - ON HOLD.

Hi lovelies.

You may have noticed that I am quite behind on my posts for The 30 Day Challenge; I apologize. This was a way for me to blog regularily but it didn't happen.... Once again, I got caught up in the rath of school work and my job. I had decided to get back into the challenge this past friday since I was off school in the late afternoon and I wasn't scheduled to work either... & then came the Japan tragedy.

> I just couldn't fathom doing blog posts on fruitful things when there are people on the the other side of world who have lost EVERYTHING including their loved ones.... Does it make sense? These people are in devastation and I'm sitting here blogging about the the $1000 bag that I want to have. It just didn't feel right.

This really got me thinking that material things mean nothing in the end. This is the truth.

& so, I've decided to lay off for a while. Friday, my mum and I went to the mall and I didn't purchase a thing. I didn't feel like it. & top of that I have so much already, that I don't even use, why do I need more?! I didn't do much to help with the tragedy, but this was my way of coping, I guess. It was my 'moment of silence' for Japan. This was the least I could do. There are thousands upon thousands of lost people and I'm worried that my foundation doesn't give me good coverage? Really?!?!?

Save The Children is very dear to my heart, and this was another small way for me to help the children in Japan...

> Sorry for the ramble, but I've just decided to put my posts for the 30 Day Challenge on hold for now. Sorry to those who were looking forward to the posts. I just feel like it needs to be done.

We live in such a small world, and one day tragedy could happen to any of us... Just think about what really matters; your Louis Vuitton bag or someones life?           x

> Fun fact: I don't own anything Hello Kitty. Sorry to disappoint you. I never did, but maybe I will in the future. Pretty pathetic to some, but I never jumped onto the Hello Kitty bandwagon. It just wasn't for me. I do however want the Hello Kitty Fragrance (found at Sephora); since I am a huge fragrance collector. Any of you lovelies have it?

04/30: Favourite Foundation & 05/30: Favourite thing to do

I've been slacking .... but I have valid excuses! I had an exam today, and have been busy working and preparing and THUS I have not been able to keep up with my posts.

  

My favourite foundation is Magix Cashmere Foundation by AVON . I've tried various drugstore foundations such as Maybelline and high end foundation such as MAC Studio Finish but none made me as happy as this one (there are other factors that were involved when I formed this opinion, such as wrong shade, etc). I wouldn't say it is a full coverage foundation; I don't like my face looking caked-up or so you can tell that I'm wearing foundation. I prefer foundations that give an even finish while still maintaining coverage, which in reality is hard to find. Have any suggestions? I'd be happy to hear, please let me know!  

  

I can be retardedly silly sometimes. What this photo is really suppose to represent is my favourite thing to do, which is --> spend money & shopping. Sadly, I don't have any pictures of myself shopping or anything like that so I decided to showcase my plastic cash to represent my favourite thing to do. Clearly, I need a hobby! Any suggestions?

02/30: Favourite Bag & 03/30: Favourite Brush

  

> Nothing fancy, nothing branded. This is the simplest, most versatile bag I own and I absolutely adore it. & you know what? It's a tote. This is by far the best tote I've ever owned, the quality is amazing, and I got it for a bargain! I know what you  are thinking ... Saf, really?  No fancy hobo bag by MUI MUI or LOUIS VUITTON? Nope. Just this plain and simple nautical inspired tote from Bluenotes.

> The BODY SHOP sells brushes?!? (Hell yes!) & they are lovely! I never really thought about purchasing makeup items from a shop that mainly sells such lovely smelling items but I was getting a good deal and I thought to my self, why not?! Believe it or not, (I bought a few other brushes along with this one) these were my very first DECENT eyeshadow brushes that I purchased on Oxford Street while visiting the beau a few months ago. This is my favourite eyeshadow blending brush; the bristles are quite soft and don't shed whatsoever!

01/30: Favourite Eyeliner.

> M.A.C PETROL BLUE - PEARLGLIDE INTENSE EYELINER

Hands down my favourite eyeliner ever! I can't say enough about it! Although it is quite pricey, I've use mine quite a lot. PETROL BLUE is the perfect pop of colour for your peepers, especially brown eyes. I usually pair it with a black eyeliner for night or wear it alone for a casual look. Another great thing, is it has tiny specks of glitter! The harmony between the ease of wear and sparkle are impeccable!

I've neglected this blog. I know. I've hardly been on my laptop this last little while for numerous reasons; I've been eaten alive by a giant monster (aka swamped with Midterms) and my job. I haven't been keeping up with everybody's blogs (sorry), deactivated my facebook (for good reason) and as you can see, I am not so into the online world at the moment.
